rules are rules, everyone had a whole month to fucking sign up /period

from the perspective of us as spectators, it has no disadvantage to add more players to the competition ... on the contrary, we would see more items drop which would be fun for us.

But from the people competing in the tournament, every additional competitor getting in late would cause a slightly lower chance of winning one of the fg prizes for everyone else... yea the newcomers would have a big time disadvantage but still, it would as I said also bring disadvantages to the people already competing. Therefore, the people who are already competing should decide about this... not us as the spectators

If they would be stupid enough to do that - Why not let them?
They add the same amount of money as everyone else.

The only exception here is they are forced to play extremely aggressive, as they will have way less Bigblinds to work with compared to the people with average stack.

Your arguement doesnt make any kind of sense.

Personally, I don't really care. Rules were made that way, so this is the way it goes.

Edit: As far as the poker game goes. The blinds always go up, making it difficult for others to enter the game late. In this case, there is still 3 weeks to farm. Plenty to win.

You cant really compare a poker tournament to this at all

I just thought this were about fun in the end, and not about winning fg.
Adding more players would just make more activity.

But yeah the rules are stating so apparently, so it should be keept that way.

Anyways just wanted to throw in my 2 cents.

I really thought that Diablo 2 would die a little bit more at every passing year, but we get more and more GM players in PvM foruns (some cheaters but they're too obv).

That's really nice to see. We can expect more stuff to do around here I guess

My last comment about this matter:

I gave people almost two months preparing, starting their own WT or improve an already existing character for better chances of success in the Tournament. I want people who actively contribute to this forum section get something fun out of their characters besides the goals they already have. A lot of WT's end after killing Baal Hell and I wanted to change that.

If your only reason of joining this Tournament is to earn fg, it's fine but it still required you to post something about your character.

I want to say I trust everyone, but I don't. It's harder to cheat with a WT up and running. It's open for everyone to follow.

Of course I want as many people as possible to join this, but at the same time I want to keep the norm of having to work for your participation in MY Tournaments.

This is not directed to you personally GoMa, but to everyone asking or wondering the same thing.

First Tournament I made had two players, me and KillaMikey. Second there was four of us, me, Liimule, buniac(thebot), ixwichs1 and IsummonedGods. And look at this one! If the trend continues, there will be more. Prove yourself by making a WT and join the next one
