Look, guys. I literally almost exactly copied/pasted the Farmathon as it was posted in the first topic of this page. After looking into several of the ones to follow, they ALL allowed PlugY(with Torch and Anni) and DID NOT require for a WT to be posted(only asked for "some kind" of summary of it. Like that can't be made up LOL.)

Please, tell me.. How is mine truly any different than these? They all allowed PlugY and did not require a WT.

1. Endless storage + muling which is a huge deal in single player
2. Free respeccs, all the time, how many times and whenever you want with both skills and stats
3. Super common diablo clone, which is a joke to kill
4. Watered down ubers, which are also a joke
5. Endless cow levels with king kills
6. Item levels shown
7. Stat summary
8. Can load a lot of files d2 usually cant, allowing you to edit items much like a hero editor
9. Ladder Runewords
10. A lot of wierd ass commands, like...

Has PlugY not been allowed in previous Farmathons? From my research, with the 4 that I see have existed, it has been allowed in all.

Rules:

Here's what you need to compete in Farm-a-ton:

1. A Hardcore character
2. A Walkthrough posted on d2jsp or atleast some kind of summary of it
3. Integrity

* Your character must be Hardcore
* /players 8 must be on at all times DURING the Tournament, but how you played to get there is none of my business
* Only manual play (no botting)
* Untwinked (no muling)
* Ladder Runewords allowed
* Patch 1.13c/1.13d/1.14
* PlugY allowed but only with patch 1.13c or 1.13d (Annihilus and Torch allowed)
* If you die you are out (obviously)

* When you find an item take a screenshot of it dropping (on the ground, untouched with the keyword announced at a later point). Take a screenshot of it identified in your inventory with the keyword. Both of these screenshots are required to get points for the item. When this is done you can do whatever you want with the item (use it, sell it, stash it, whatever!)

* ONLY items found within the Tournament time frame gives you score. Items found before or after does not.

* I will give myself the freedom of disqualifying anyone who I think is cheating.

* ONLY items found in level 85 areas count. You are free to run any number of areas.

I understand feeling a little disadvantaged without PlugY as I don't use PlugY. I wish I had Torch and Anni lol. However, it has always been allowed and I know a good portion of the player base plays with it.

You really don't see any difference? Forum is full of heroedited walks currently (yes open your eyes)

Also for year 2020 i would allow some ''known'' streamers to enter without actual walk thread on site

So what is the good in wanting for a WT to be posted if you think the forums are full of hero-edited walks? It states "or at least some kind of summary of it". Can this not be made up? I recall, in past Farmathons, a few people writing a few sentences about their character and that was sufficient. I figured I would spare us that as it was ridiculous lol. How is that an indicator of legitimacy?

One of my rules is that the character must be hardcore. I did not say softcore could join.


Look, unless you have a solid difference from this Farmathon compared to previous ones, move along.

Besides, looking at the current participants list, almost all of them have a WT. Only a few don't.
