i don't really recommend the alvl85 areas for unique drops at the moment, while its true they can drop every item in the game, the odds of a unique actually dropping is pretty low. hitting bosses like hell andy, nm baal or hell meph makes more sense in your current situation.

merc and I both could use elite armors.
I have been clearing as much as needed to fulfill all quests and get all waypoints so far. I've not done many optional areas, and almost no reruns before today either. I'd like to keep reruns to a minimum throughout. The only reason I'm doing it now is that I need a tank, and merc is way too squishy still.
I need one more shael to upgrade his boneflesh before going back to hell. If he is still dying all over the place then I will have to choose among your well reasoned suggestions, or hit the mauseuem until a lem & a 3 os armor drop. Took torch 3 days in there for the 3 os armor, so I'm really hoping that the boneflesh will do for now. Also ISO base and pul for Enlightenment.
I think countess is fire and cold immune, so reruns there may be annoying. Ofc, l5 is only /p1...
Tele to countess is scary. I have low fhr and no merc w/ insight to keep the mana up. Tele all the way to meph? Shudder.... Mana burn one hit... I can see it now
I may try it as a last resort, but if there are too many close calls then I'll probably start using spirit.
