i meant it in general: you walkthroughs are pointless, because of your adds (item level etc) and the bigger stash. you can play on battle net, because it does not differ from you playstyle

For me and many others who have followed it isn't pointless because some of us like nice gear more than the challenge of the play. I like variety so this time I'm limiting my stash use and not even doing re-runs for as long as possible.
The item level is more of a novelty rather than a cheat. It helps me know what area I was in, or what kind of monster ( champion, minion, unique) dropped a given item. Again this makes it more interesting, like when a level 80 unique succubus skull dropped for torch in the bloody foothills... Chance of that is 1/1.5million, which I wouldn't have been able to appreciate otherwise. I suppose you could use item level to cheat at crafting, especially when you are at level ~87-92, so if you want I can turn off ilevel then.
