I kept both, but now I'm using the ground to keep runes & gems & stuff. I also moved my insight staff to the cube and the orb and grim shield to the switch slots, saving 5 slots. I can't quite bring myself to sell it yet

I know the three patterns from the waypoint to the halls of vaught, but I still need to learn the ways from the entrance to the halls of pain to the waypoint. Once I found the WP I knew where to go:







I wasted no time going to get Nil.

The hardest part of this area was the ARMY of archers. There were more than I have ever seen at once all over this place. I cleared the other wings and they were everywhere.

I still had another Ral, so I tried to gamble for a casque. First shot, got one!



... but I forgot I had no more Jewels... Crap... Saved the casque anyway, hopefully a jewel will show up soon.





Nilathek was pretty easy as I stayed well clear of the piles of corpses I made on the right side entrance, and walked over to the left where he had no minefield.

Sorry the action shot isn't better. My strategy was to keep walking around in big circles while getting in Orbs here and there. I staticed in the beginning too, but one dude was Lit & Cold immune. So after the first two were dispatched I used the same strategy but fireballed him instead which required more aiming. I could tank several hits so I'd stand my ground for brief times, fireball away, and maybe also meteor him.

WSK 2 was full of Gloams & snakes & Lightning beetles. Fortunately my lit res is maxed and this is still only NM.
