Holy Freeze also slows attack speed of monsters. Which is a lot better forc a sorc than defence or might is. Adds survivability.

So I was on my way up the hill when a bunch of damn extra fast Foul Crows came out of nowhere and had me in stun lock.. I had to use all my juvs & red pots... I need to remember to recast frozen armor like I used to cast holy shield... I was eventually able to teleport away but decided to s/e anyway as all the monsters were ignoring the merc again, targeting only me. Suck, this was the first really cheesy exit. Blah.

Now I've got a holy freeze merc, and he is indeed better. I was really coasting through NM until A4, and coasted through A4 w/ Glacial spike, but A5 is a different story. The holy freeze merc does make a nice difference, so I'm coasting again.

An interesting orb, with nice boost to mana. I'll hold it in inv for a bit, but can't bring myself to use it. It ends up @ Larzuk.

The only good thing about gloams is their inclination towards dropping runes. Another Eth to replace the one lost to my stealth. Still ISO shael. I have two Sols now too, so ISO Sol & blue chippy or Shael.



Frozenstein had mana burn, and his pack was always targeting me alone. So I went back to A2 and hired another new HF merc. Problem solved. I can now blast away from afar without worry.
