Infector was also difficult, because his buddies absolutely toasted my bear, sage and Jemali. Had to pull them out to separate a bit. They were easy enough in smaller doses though!

And Diablo. Diablo was np. Targeted my bear/Jemali most of the fight, and did virtually no damage to either of them, leaving me free to CB him down. Took ~30 seconds to kill him

Into A5 we go, updates tomorrow hopefully! Pretty slow going at this point, more because I'm playing carefully and fully clearing to have room to work with nasty packs. Damage still feeling great, but I'm squishy vs the wrong type of packs.

Thanks Cyclops, glad you enjoyed it, I appreciate the feedback!

After a couple day break, into A5 we go, the final push!

Easy monster roll in Bloody Foothills; Spearcats and the little A3 Birds. No issues there. Shenk went down pretty easily as well.

Time to rescue some barbs. Little worse monster roll here, but not terrible. Archers, Slayers/Whipper things, Blunderbores. Not the best monsters, but didn't hit many packs. Sharptooth went for a marathon run to try and escape, but once he stopped, we put him in his place.

And the barbs are rescued! (I actually opened their door then ran away, and didn't realize until later the idiots just stood there. I had to run all the way back and stand near them to usher them into the open TP waiting for them... maybe they didn't deserve to be rescued after all.

Not a bad monster roll in Arreat Plateau, though it did have fire mages who seemed to like spawning boss packs, and I can't leech off of them. Fortunately, fire is my only decent resist

Lots of Hell Whips/Slayers, but nothing dangerous. This was a pack of 5x Hell Whips and all their respective goons. They got whipped!

Thresh Socket didn't stand a chance! Into the caves....

Archers. A double pack of them. Cute. Amp, strong, Mana Burn, Fast, I don't recall the rest of the mods. Fortunately these things are leechable and drop in 1-2 Furys apiece, so they were actually easier than expected. The well to cure Amp as needed there was nice too!

And there's the one who was Amping me going down. Just cleanup from there.

And Evil Urn? Might as well...

Just mages.

Seriously considered rerolling this map, it had a good number of gloams, and they are super dangerous, and actually hard to bring down, must have high physical resist! But, that seems like cheating, so I'd better push through.

Not pictured: Cast bear around every corner, wait for him to get lit up like a Christmas Tree. Slowly lure gloams out one by one, frantically kill one before the others find me, rinse and repeat. Each normal gloam pack took like 10 minutes to kill. Full disclosure: while I did not reroll the map, I did "forget" to pop an evil urn for fear of gloams :P

This Fanat Cursed Viper pack was a breath of fresh air compared to the gloams raining lightning-death down on me everywhere!

Finally made it through and killed this goober who was guarding my resist scroll
