Holy guacamole, this Sh00p fella really ticks me in all the wrong ways. In every topic. Or am I perhaps giving him to much credit, just realized this Snyft2 hideout moron also uses a bronie avatar. Oh well, just posting as a reminder through my recent posts to install that block-user script if I ever start engage in this forum.
Like FUCK. Seriously? (:
ont: PoE is a game, and it's unparallelled in it's genre. But yes, without PvP as end-game, trade leagues will eventually grow stale on you after a while. Grind-items-to-grind-more-items always will.
Try SSF, try SSFHC, or try another game for awhile. Or even go outside, idk. Until we get a game as hot as PoE with competitive PvP, it's the best we will ever have.

Pretty accurate here honestly.
The leagues aren't long and the skill rebalance that happens every league as well makes it so PvP will never be balanced
it's true, and it's an active choice by GGG ofcourse. And it has worked out perfectly as a concept for them thus far.
I just wish, for my own taste, there was a game like PoE that had PvP. I could live with a less vibrant / shifting "pvm"-meta, np. The end-goal (pvp gear) would incentivize the grind anyways.

You pvp nerds can argue all day long, but it never was and never will be the main focus of the devs, neither in D2 or PoE.
It's always been a fun extra in arpgs, the main focus is still grind your ass off and get mad loot.
PvP isn't for everyone, but it vitalizes the game for everyone. Disagree?
It helps the games longevity, and the game will be more rewarding for everyone. PvM scrubs and pvp scrubs alike, because items will be worth more.
I never understood why PvM-puritans didn't want others to enjoy pvp :/
trust me, if d2 didn't have pvp, that game would have died in 2010 instead of kind of still being active.
