even if monsters dont get higher level, they might still be stronger in some other way or maybe the chuchu train moves too fast to keep up at some point or something
but they assured us that the difficulty will scale to infinity, we just don't know how exactly... imagine like each depth level you go further gives +10% monster damage and 10% monster hp modifier for example

I feel you are reading too much into that line. It was literally said "monsters scale up to 2 tiers higher than current maps". Which is what scales monsters dmg/life. increasing difficulty after that can only come as things like map modifiers. However, they did not "assure" us of a infinite difficulty scaling. Only an Infinite dungeon. They are not the same thing. Infinite difficulty would be a dumb decision. Unless they have some magical way to prevent that from absolutely killing build diversity

so you think the ladder system for this infinite dungeon will completely decided by who spends more time doing it? like the limit is t18 mobs and then you can do 100000 levels and all will be the same? i'm pretty sure that ain't the case but we'll see

I think we don't know enough about it for what it actually is; I just don't think it will be infinite difficulty scaling.

the neck is top tier. you just don't understand cause you have no clue about golemancer build. :) yea crap base but who cares.

doesn't matter what you think, they said it will be infinite scaling. they also pointed out you will only be limited by your character's power. monster stat scaling will get brutal. you can't make a glasscannon cause you will lack staying power, you can't make some kinda crazy tank cause you need killing power. just a balanced powerful character, then see how far you can take it. that's actual endgame, incentive to minmax gear and build, delve as deep as you can. if you're bored or think you can do better, make a new build. plus there is the ladder, to show off, even more incentive...

then you got the non-league related stuff, new skills + revamped skills + balance changes coming. meta shake-up.

this will be best league so far. mark my words.

abyss was so boring that after 5 minutes of playing i realized that i would rather slide into the crack of fat anna from high school than another abyssal one :wacko: 5 more minutes of playing and i would rather let big tyrone slide it into my crack than play that shit anymore <_< and incursion didnt really attract any new players, i didnt play that one but it seemed rather boring after the initial hype :unsure:

cant people see that the game is by now so complex that it cant attract new players anyway no matter what they do, adding new content is pointless :wacko: just let the game die, learn from the mistakes, and start planning poe 2 that wont have those mistakes :(
