i start my d2 and its loading for about 5min ...

Are you running Windows vista or 7 ? If so are you running it in compatibilty mode and running it as admin ?

Follow this guide and try again.

Change the graphic mode by running D2Vidtst.exe in your Diablo 2 folder and see if Diablo 2 starts faster afterwards.

run the d2vidtst.exe from diablo 2 folder, and choose 3D
right click diablo 2 properties compatibility [X] run as administrator

Is everything going slow or is it just Diablo 2 ?

"If the game takes too long to start up, try disabling Aero Glass or under Compatability, disable desktop composition. To disable Aero Glass, follow the steps below:

1. Right-Click on a blank area of desktop
2. Select Personalize from the context menu
3. Click Window Color and Appearance Option
4. Here you can check if you want to Enable Transparency or not.
5. You can also disable the whole Aero Glass theme from here. Just click the Open classic appearance properties for more color options link.

If you are referring to the actual time that it takes for Diablo to load after clicking the icon try this.

Right Click Icon>Properties>Compatibility>[x] Disable Themes

You can also try [x] Disable desktop composition and disable scaling however, this probably isn't needed.
