CTA is fine because your character equips it. It's part of the game and everyone has access to it.

When people say BO barb, they're assuming you are loading a second copy of D2R, plus possibly up to 6 fillers, and playing HC on easy mode with advantages that no one has unless they spend extra money.

These are not the same things

Also your claim about most people going HC and staying there is BS. The vast majority of HC players make an HC char, die in normal, and then quit D2 or go to SC.

If you're saying "most active HC players never went back", then obviously you're just looking at survivorship bias. SC has way more players than HC and almost all SC players I've encountered have played HC at some point in the past
