<Challenge System>
Please Read Before Submitting New Challenges
1) Have fun!! (No rage/drama, negative spam or you will be removed, use the open suggestion thread).
2) If you wish to be added to the Ladder? Post JSP name/D2 account/Character name - Type of character.
3) You are allowed to challenge up to 2 ranks above you until you get to #3, then you must duel everybody; one at a time.
4) You must PM the other party about the challenge, then post the challenge in this thread here.
5) If you issued the challenge and won? You must wait 12 hours after completion of challenge to issue another challenge.
6) If you lose a challenge you must wait 48 hours to rechallenge the same person.
7) 3-Day Dodge rule (AFK, No-reply, No-show = Auto-loss) 2 consecutive Dodges = Removed from ladder.
If you cannot complete your challenge on time it is your responsibility to PM
your challenger and inform them; then post in thread asking for an extension.
If you fail to do this Dodge Rule will be enforced.

<Duel Rules>
1) GM Melee rules apply to all duels See page 1 for rules.
2) You may change gear twice during a set and once between each set.
3) A challenge will be best 2/3 sets, first to 6 must win each set by 2 duels.

Well, the point of extension is to extend thematch from weekday to weekend.
say if the challenge was made on monday and you are busy with school (not to mention this time of the year is finals for almost all post secondary)
you have to extend the match until the weekend because this is the only time you two can possibly meet no?



edit:
i recall dark also saying, if you are unsure of what is going on between person a and person b.
PM THEM FIRST, to know what is going on.


this isn't clear enough to state that it's 24 hours.
Unless stated it can be more than 24 hours. pm'd

will be ruled dodged at midnight then you will get his spot by default and be able to challenge up from there

Well Im not the Admin that made the Ruling...
But unless a specific ammount of time is asked for. which it wasnt, extensions are 24 hours

This is a huge ladder we dont have time to PM everybody for every duel that is not completed on time thats the purpose of this in the rules

it should be cancel the match it was like extended at least a week the match should've been done already. it's either cancel or dodge.



ehh..i extended for like 48 hours or so and they didn't do anything..lol

who issued for extension?
how do you determine if it's a dodge or a canceled challenge?

when your admin you can determine if it's a dodge or cancel the match cuz the match taken too long.

so if person a was rank 1 and person b was rank 2

person b challenges person a
person a then asks for extension because he can't do the challenge,
since its taken forever, and they have not dueled, it's a cancel / dodge.
but in this case this would be a cancelled match.

I thought a if the challenged person doesn't get the duel done it's a dodge.
i guess so many unwritten rules coming from everywhere
I guess its better to suck up to an admin and get the upper hand at these scenarios
