When: Saturday, April 15th, 2023 7:00 PM EST. Time may change, date is confirmed. *Tentative.

Rules
ZPK Nontap ruleset

FT: 15 per match. No win by 2. Double elimination.


Dodge rule will be enforced after 20 minutes. 7:20 PM EST - If a no show - your opponent will move on.

Can start dueling anytime after 5 AM EST. Bracket will be created the night before and changes won't be permitted after 5 AM.


Format
No fortitude/phoenix/shaftstop. They are banned for this event.


Prizes
FG to top 3 - current pool 10,000 fg.

Please sign up in the disc. Please PM me or any of the ladder moderators to be invited.

Format

Death Cleaver and Death Runeword are banned for this event

ZPK Nontap ruleset

Each match is 2v2 first to 7.

Teams will be RANDOMLY assigned. This is meant to be a fun event.

Hey folks, it's been a while since I've updated anything. Season 1 is still in progress, there are some changes coming.

What I would like to tackle is the grindy nature of the format. 2 Nontap and 2 Tap duels initially didn't seem like a lot, but after reflecting and seeing how things played out, it kind of becomes a grind fest. It can kind of get demoralizing to see how many duels you have to do to "rank up". I'll announce some changes below to hopefully address the issues that I've seen throughout the season as well as some new spice.

Just some coles notes for what to expect in the upcoming future.

Season 1:

- Season end date. May 3rd 2023.

- Top 5 Overall get invited to a Season 2 Finale Invitational (Good prizes), more info below.

Changes for Season 2:

- Must have CBF in your gear. The reason for this change is to make the limited swaps based upon making adjustments for AR/DEF/DMG/LIFE, etc. The mind games of cold damage isn't fun or ideal.

- 2 month season duration. This may be longer depending.

- The ladder will be moving away from 2 Tap and 2 Nontap duels to the following format:

1 Nontap (ZPK Style)
1 Tap
1 No FPS (No fortitude/phoenix/shaft)

Season 2 Invitational

Top 5 from Season 1 are invited. Top 5 from Season 2 are also invited. If you're already qualified, your invite moves down to the next person in line.

Season 2 Tournament winners will also be qualified for an invite. If qualified already, invite moves down to the next person in line.

Tournament format to be determined, potentially looking at POOL play where everyone duels everyone and will be record based.

Feel free to PM any suggestions. I'm all ears to make things better. I can be a stubborn bastard, but I do care and ideally want to provide a good playing experience for all.
