A dueling ladder is for PVP, and pvp only. Drama stemming from the trading forums has nothing to do with one's ability to be GM in duels. When it comes to dueling, doesn't matter now how one attains their gear, but by how they use what gear they have to win (while still obeying PVP rules of the ladder obviously). Banning someone from a dueling ladder on the grounds that they are not a GM trader is not in any way related to dueling aspect. Rick aside, I will even argue that a large majority of good pvpers were known scammers, not trade spawns. Why? Because people who spend all their time in the trading forums do not practice their skills nearly enough to be good at dueling.

I'm not for a scammer ladder, but I'm for a ladder where all participants can be seen as top notch rivals/on par with each other. If you have personal beef with someone, that is your own problem, there is no need to attack a ladder and/or it's med because they refuse to bend to your will. Doing so is BM in it's own right and makes you no matter than the scammer you're upset at/attacking.

My vote to let Rick on the ladder has nothing to do with support Decarnate (who you claim received free items) or hating on on those who have been scammed by Rick. I simply stated my opinion + reasoning behind it and it made sense to Decarnate so he ruled it as so. Decarnate and I, despite being long time friends rarely see eye to eye. The fact that we can both mutually agree on this matter just goes to show that it's logical. On the other hand, you simply want someone banned from a ladder because you have been with them. So tell me, who is the one that is in the wrong here.
