The 27 Rules of GvG:

1) Duels take place in Hell Difficulty, in the Blood Moor.
2) Both players must say "go" or "g" for a duel to begin.
3) First to 5 wins a challenge, and both slain at same time is a tie - not who dies first. Double kills are not counted.
4) No hacks of any kind.
5) No healing or rejuvination potions, wells, shrines, antidote potions, PvM leeching, or healing of any kind, etc... (Life Rep. up to 40 is permitted).
6) Use your own BO with the gear you use during duels.
7) Absolutely NO pre-buff; you must cast venom with the gear you will be dueling in. Carrying anything in your inventory except for charms is considered BM (IE. Cube for buffing)
8) Stacked poison resist up to 85% and/or up to 75% poison length reduced by gear is allowed. (You must show belt + potions along with gear to prove where the plr/stack comes from, if need be.)
9) Use/recasting of Shadow Master/Warrior are allowed.
10) Being a Ghost vs Ghost ladder, the minimum requirements for your Assassin to be considered a Ghost are as follows: Enigma armor, Chaos claw, and a second claw. These items MUST be used for official duels.
11) You may challenge up to two spots ahead, until reaching the "top 3 barrier": Once reaching top 3 status, you may only duel who is the next spot ahead of you.
12) You can only challenge the same person once in the span of 48 hours unless they accept it first. After challenging the same person two times in a row, a minimum 3 day "grace period" must be given before rechallenging a third time.
13) No dodging. This rule is in place for someone who wishes to "hold" their spot. The challenger should be the one initiating a date/time to duel. If the challengee does not give a reasonable reply within 3 days, a dodge may be called. If the challenger fails to initiate a specific time/date within 3 days, the challenge will automatically be dropped.
14) One base point may be used in light or fire traps. Claws with + to trap skills base are acceptable. (Hybrids are permitted, so long as trap skills beyond 1 base point are not used.)
15) If you town it is a death (on purpose or accidental) unless your opponent agrees otherwise.
16) No excessive use of houses or cornering/mass defensive dueling. If you feel your opponent is too defensive, feel free to pm a mediator to watch the duel or fraps it yourself.
17) Items that have spell charges are allowed but charges may not be used.
18) Ethereal items are not allowed unless they are glitched indestructable, zod'd, or self-repair.
19) Unperm items may not be used. Any participant suspected of using an unperm item for an official FT5 must pass a clash test before being able to use said item.
20) Winner must post legit s/s's of the kills if there is any question as to the outcome of the duels.
21) Being in a party of any size during official duels is not allowed unless the match is being mediated (Only the Mediator may be in a party).
22) Any time either player touches the stash (for any length of time), they are to Save/Exit & Rejoin ASAP and show their gear/inventory, upon discretion of the other player.
23) If any player dodges more than 2 challenges in a row (3rd dodge). They face risk of being kicked from the ladder. They may rejoin again later, but will lose rank.
24) For the duel against #1 spot. You must win by 2 (aka 5-3) or first to 7 wins - whichever comes first. (This is to prevent excuses such as "lucky" weapon blocks.)
25) A player is allowed to go on vacation for up to 7 days. When a player is on vacation status, others may challenge around them. (Ex: If #5 goes on vacation, #7 can now challenge up to #4)
26) In order to be active on the ladder, you must have PM access and you must not be away from Jsp for an inordinate amount of time (i.e. several weeks or months).
27) Repeated s/e'ing after each death to get around the "Anya bug" is considered Bm.

I don't agree with rule #19 mike, sounds like an excuse for those with perm gclaws to flex, and anyone who doesn't have them to be at a huge disadvantage. The reason for rules is to be on an equal footing, if someone has a perm gclaw and I don't have access to a perm one while technically yes I can win the duel but I think we can all agree I'm at a heavy disadvantage. I think we can all agree the purpose of having rules is to make these duels fair and even and therefore more fun for everyone involved. Also I think I think abolishing this rule might help bring new people to playing the ghost build and adding to the contenders on this ladder.

Also maybe the wording on rule #27 will need to be reworded. I know my sin seems to always drop if it dies while ww'ing.
and rule #26... what about rick...lol

I see where you're coming from about rule 19, when more participants sign up and if they feel the same way, it can very well be changed..

What I'm saying is that I don't want to sign up already being a huge underdog to the top competitors. I'm sure other potential ladder participants might feel the same way as me....

True, I see no reason to keep that rule. Will be removed upon following update ;)
