<Challenge System>
Please Read Before Submitting New Challenges
1) Have fun!! (No rage, drama BM or bullshit you will be banned if there are complaints about you).
2) To be added to the Ladder post JSP Name/D2 account/Character Name- Type of character.
3) Allowed to challenge up to 2 ranks above you until you get to #3 then you must duel everybody
4) You must PM the other party about the challenge FIRST then post challenge in this topic.
5) GM Melee rules apply to all duels See page 1 for rules.
6) Challenge will be best 2/3 sets first to 6 must win each set by 2 duels.
7) You may change gear 1 time during a set and 1 time between each set.
8) If you issued the challenge must wait 12 hours after completion of challenge to issue another challenge.
Characters with "FL" by their name are from ladder and will be allowed to circumvent rule #8 until April 6
9) If you lose a challenge you must wait 48 hours to rechallenge the same person.
10) 3-Day Dodge rule (AFK, No-reply, No-show = Auto-Loss) 2 consecutive Dodges=Removed from Ladder
* symbol for 1 dodge applied

If you cannot complete your challenge on time it is your responsibitly to PM
your Challenger and inform them then post in thread asking for an extension.
If you fail to do this Dodge Rule will be enforced.

It has come to the attention of the council that DoanY has been suspected of shifting by multiple members of this ladder during his duels in pn. Because of this all future duels that he is involved in must be ref'd by either an admin or one of the assistants until further notice. In the event that he is confirmed to be shifting he will be banned from this ladder.

well i personally dislike the idea of more than 1 gear change per challenge. but why him he has like every setup.... weird.

The world would end if we allowed just ONE more gear change. And the inclusion of a rule that can't be checked or enforced is useless to have, since only the honest people would abide by it, therefore, making it unfair to these honest people that don't "respec" their characters. Another rediculous rule after another...

But it isn't? It's one change and one after set is done.


We have to put rule about respect token because if we do that it will show a lot of bad things and melee will never be fun because they can just token all the time which its rlly stupid tbh.

I would call it strategy and experimentation. Another example of this ladder's prejudice against anything that gives options or strategy to its participants.

so you would have people just randomly changing gear around 5 times a set trying to find something that works then if that doesnt work the whip out a respec token and try a completely dif stat setup as well. thats not stradegy its randomness.
the only person that btches about this constantly is you. Funny that you are also the only one of the admins that never takes the time to contribute to this ladder all you do is stir up shit about the rules you dont like. And even then the rest of us take up our time to discuss them and vote on them and when your point of view is voted down you continue to stir up more shit about it.

when I made a suggestion I thought was very valid and it was shot down I shut the fuck up about it and I still actively and positively participate in the updates
