It does seem a bit suspicious that just NOW you're enforcing that rule when you're defending #1 and that you're the updater/mediator of this ladder. Seems like you don't want to give it up, then you try to kick him off the ladder when he's been on it for quite some time now without any problems...

I have no bias on the situation but....

I think Rick definitely has shown on this ladder at least he is GM and should not be dropped

I feel like Decarnate is sort of abusing the system. IMO they do a play-in duel for #1, ft5 not win by 2 bullshit lmfao

Any time I duel for #1 this rule is enforced, like I said I cannot speak for other participants. Azn Masta and I created this rule years ago and we have had many instances of ft7s.

Gvg allows for razor close duels, being a mirror match, and we wanted to make the duel for #1 extra high stakes.

I've seen duels for top spot go to 6 or 7 duels before .

If anyone cares, this is coming from a completely unbiased point of view.

The win by 2 rule for #1 spot has been around for quite some time now and was enforced for duels between seep and myself many times in the past before Rick came along. I cannot say who is right or wrong here as I don't have all the details, but as a professional, I will state that the purpose of contracts is to settle disagreements between two parties. The "contract" in this case is agreement to all rules (no matter how much you may seem it bullshit) when you sign up for the ladder.

I would also like to mention that Rick and I have fought for the #1 spot several times and we have never had any issues, so from my point of view he is gm. Don't kick or ban him. Just re do the ft5 from scratch or complete it based on win by 2 rule.
