<Challenge System>
Please Read Before Submitting New Challenges
1) Have fun!! (No rage, drama BM or bullshit you will be banned if there are complaints about you).
2) To be added to the Ladder post JSP Name/D2 account/Character Name- Type of character.
3) Allowed to challenge up to 2 ranks above you until you get to #3 then you must duel everybody
4) You must PM the other party about the challenge FIRST then post challenge in this topic.
5) GM Melee rules apply to all duels See page 1 for rules.
6) Challenge will be best 2/3 sets first to 6 must win each set by 2 duels.
7) You may change gear 1 time during a set and 1 time between each set.
8) If you issued the challenge must wait 12 hours after completion of challenge to issue another challenge.
Characters with "FL" by their name are from ladder and will be allowed to circumvent rule #8 until April 6
9) If you lose a challenge you must wait 48 hours to rechallenge the same person.
10) 3-Day Dodge rule (AFK, No-reply, No-show = Auto-Loss) 2 consecutive Dodges=Removed from Ladder
* symbol for 1 dodge applied

If you cannot complete your challenge on time it is your responsibitly to PM
your Challenger and inform them then post in thread asking for an extension.
If you fail to do this Dodge Rule will be enforced.

It has come to the attention of the council that DoanY has been suspected of shifting by multiple members of this ladder during his duels in pn. Because of this all future duels that he is involved in must be ref'd by either an admin or one of the assistants until further notice. In the event that he is confirmed to be shifting he will be banned from this ladder.

I think it's time to increase the gear change to 2 changes in between sets and 1 in between sets.
1 gear change is getting ridiculous. If you make a mistake and accidentally geared the wrong armor, it's game over -.-
some people are getting old, eyes getting strained

I was careful, Its tough when you're tired, ive been on for 5 hours since that tourny and the drama. lotsa of reading. sometimes what you think you're looking at isn't what it exactly it.

I agree this ladder has some very rediculous rules, that I've tried to get changed, but the council won't have any of it...

I was for a rule change with bren. I voted to at least add an amendment that would allow another gear if both duelists agreed to it beforehand. Got voted against ofc and there didn't seem to be much of a desire from the participants of the ladder to get the rule changed anyway so it died. If there is an outcry in the discussion thread perhaps we could revote on it. And yes lots of misinformed rage to read tonight lol.



I don't think there are any "ridiculous" rules on the ladder. I like the top 3 rule and the rest of the rules aren't new except for the gear one ofc which is strict.

initially the reason for this 1 gear per set it to come to the duel prepared
going into the duel knowing that you have the best gear against your opponent is one thing.
but when your opponent comes up with a set up to counter your set up you will be force to gear .
when he knows you geared and finds out what you geared to, he will then counter gear you and from here on you cant really do anything about it. no second chance etc
you're stuck to see your char die till that set is over

Wait are people allowed to challenge before 12 hours now?

The ladder melees only are for the time being.
