It simply says I think most of us are gm to agree to not use it if the opponent doesn’t have it. That’s not a rule that’s a logical statement.

There will always be those who force tap vrs a non tap opponent, it’s just human nature to have weak men and strong men, it’s a balance.

I simply choose not to use it, and if they must use it to beat me then that is something they will have to accept as the truth of the situation.

On East the default is tap so it’s perfectly gm to use exile vs someone who chooses to go with non tap. I do both tap and non tap but on ladder matches or tournies I stick with tap.

Thanks for the clarification how how things have been run in the past. i should have clarified my thoughts after receiving multiple pms about it yes. so once again, the rule stands that tap is always allowed and no person can be forced to swap, as it has been in the past. non-tap duels are allowed if both opponents agree on it.

i would ask that we keep these posts to a minimum and that Steve or Myself handle the rule discrepancies ( just so things are not repeated multiple times )



if the reason for not engaging in tap duels is someone simply doesnt want to, on a ladder that allows tap, then it is not the ladders responsibility to change rules for said person

i personaly prefer non tap duels and will always ask my opponent for non tap. however, if they want tap then im must oblige and also go tap, or duel with that disadvantage.
