After some discussion with Steve ( Chronic-ftp ) I will be taking over Jay's Spot ( GtMustang ) in helping to run / update this ladder
first off, shout out to those boys for doing a great job thus far and its a shame to see Jay leave, but understandable
I'll try my best to keep up with all challenges and ladder positions.
Now, to the issues at hand that have caused this situation in the first place
No spam will be tolerated any longer. This thread is meant for keeping track, challenging opponents, and saying gds and such. we shall continue on as things should be, and forget these last few pages exist. we are already over 3k pages, i don't think we need to muddle up any more pages. Spam will be reported as such, if it continues that person will be removed from the ladder. if it persists after that, i will have to get a moderator involved. If there are discrepancies with matches, or issues with other people on the ladder or any other prudent matters feel free to message me here, or on discord ( will be posted below ) and i will be sure to deal with anything as quickly as possible. All i ask is that you respect the decision that is made. If you have an issue with me or how I choose to help run things, feel free to contact Chronic as he gets the final say
If there is any concern before a match, either parties can request a Referee for the match. Both parties must show their gear to the Ref if requested, to prove no bm items are being used ( including stolen items ) and not for the purpose of sharing those peoples builds with anyone. I will make myself as available as possible for these. In the event I am not available, if I can find someone, I will appoint someone I trust to be a stand in.
Now for Rule Clarification. This is how the rules will be at this point in time, but are subject to change
[Use of Exile/Tap Gear] - Zeal vs Zeal only (may choose not to use tap yourself, but cannot force opponent not to use tap)
-Nobody can be forced to use Non-tap gear. If your opponent chooses to use Tap, it is up to you to choose if you also wish to tap, or non tap
-If a player does not have a tap setup, then i believe we are all gm enough to have gentlemen's agreement to not use tap.
-Tap or Non-Tap must be stated before the set starts, and may NOT be switched mid SET.
6) Zon is allowed to use inner sight vs conc and zeal only
-Zon's may use inner vs any Paladin or Barb. no exceptions. Zon may choose not to use inner if they want
7) Fury druid is allowed to reshift
-dont think this one has been fought ever, just wanted to Restate it.
all other small rules such as clearing chilling armor will be an agreement between opponents as some of us dont like to bother
If a Ref is requested, they will have final say in the match at the time.
In the past everyone currently on the ladder has acted in a gm way and things got along very well, and it is my wish that it goes back that way and 99% of this post wont matter lol
if there is issues with rules or people want a discussion for change, pm me directly and we can have that discussion elsewhere as to not spam this thread.
My only hope by taking on this responsibility is that we can keep a ladder and community with such a long history going for those of us who enjoy melee dueling
