You can't prevent a threat that you're un-aware of. I'm making a logical leap in assuming he didn't actually know that it was stolen. Now what?

A prerequisite for a logical leap is that it's logical. You fail that.

I'm done with this, run it up through your guild.

I'm done wasting my time here.

I guess in real life a buyer goes to jail for unknowingly buying stolen ggear, right? Considering you can't possibly verify whether or not he knew it was stolen you can verify that he has taken the steps to return the gear at his own expense. instead of delegating a decision to my guild why not ask the members of the ladder?

Stolen property crimes in most states require actual knowledge that it was stolen.

they may not be charged but the stolen property will still be confiscated they will not get to keep it

and everyone should know that if a 2 day old multi has 300k worth of gear and is trying to sell it for 1/3 value its going to be stolen

he can say he didnt know all he wants but in all honesty do you believe him?

then once it came out who the gear came from he quickly pm'd him to try and get his money back as to not get himself burned by his terrible decision to buy obviously stolen gear

I can't really take you seriously, the whole premise of your argument is he didn't know it was stolen, which is false by his own admission on the other site. He said he just didn't know who it was stolen from.

Which based on how the trade for the goods went down is not true either because he even said he thought gtakin owned besh's g arreat.

Whether someone is serious or not does not depend on whether they are working with the correct facts or not.

You're trying to sound philosophical and intelligent, it's not working, stop.

That wasn't philosophical in any way, it was a straight fact. You are saying that you cannot take him seriously because he said SpamBam didn't know it was stolen. I'm pointing out the fallacy in assuming he is trolling because his information is incorrect.
