Its just a matter of opinion , I remember Mike and I dueling (top2) each other over and over untill we quit from mass boredom , it protects the top 2 the most and doesn't give the rest of list to even challenge.

#3 spot barely gets a chance to challenge cause busy defending from the 2 below them.

It stalemates the top 3 more than anything , I tried both versions and with out that rule it promotes a little bit more movement , at least a chance for people to challenge for top 3 spots.

In the end the top players rise and defend regardless , if they cant get past #3 then they quit.

for me, i wouldn't mind a change on the challenge length. 5 day challenge with no extension.
as for the #3 rule, i've battled damn hard to get #1 before, and am trying to now. the #3 has 48 full hours to try to challenge #2 if they lose. this has been the way since the inception and seems fitting.
what happens then if #3 challenges #1 and wins. does #2 auto downgrade to #3? seems unjust for those who have clawed their way to where they are.
