<Challenge System>
Please Read Before Submitting New Challenges
1) Have fun!! (No rage, drama BM or bullshit you will be banned if there are complaints about you).
2) To be added to the Ladder post JSP Name/D2 account/Character Name- Type of character.
3) Allowed to challenge up to 2 ranks above you until you get to #3 then you must duel everybody
4) You must PM the other party about the challenge FIRST then post challenge in this topic.
5) GM Melee rules apply to all duels See page 1 for rules.
6) Challenge will be best 2/3 sets first to 6 must win each set by 2 duels.
7) You may change gear 1 time during a set and 1 time between each set.
8) If you issued the challenge must wait 12 hours after completion of challenge to issue another challenge.
9) If you lose a challenge you must wait 48 hours to rechallenge the same person.
10) 3-Day Dodge rule (AFK, No-reply, No-show = Auto-Loss) 2 consecutive Dodges=Removed from Ladder

If you cannot complete your challenge on time it is your responsibitly to PM
your Challenger and inform them then post in thread asking for an extension.
If you fail to do this Dodge Rule will be enforced.

If someone gears and the other gears right after him, it's better for both chars to gear at the same time and not wait for the other guy to come out to town before he gears.
imo,
if someone said gear,
the opponent would either say gear and go to town change gear or stay in moor..
if that opponent also says gear he/she must not wait for the other char to gear and get to moor then gear
that's gives the opponent an insight of what to change to..

I should also add that both chars gear at different acts. and when both are ready they meet at akara or by rogue waypoint.
this will prevent non glitched gears any disavantage.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to meeting up with you guys. Guaranteed great duels.

That's like playing the lottery. I don't duel to play the lottery lol. I want to be at my best. Who doesn't.

My zealot was built for several different setups, granted they weren't drastically different at all with like you said just minor changes to the setup that made a big diff vs other opponents and there was rarely a time were I lost a set whether it be a bet match or a tourney match. But if I had to use only my "main" setup then I probably wouldn't have done as well in the end. Which is why i'm strongly for gears since otherwise it limits majority of players.

I shall rage east.

You could still assume which setup they're going to switch to and change gear accordingly. But that's why I liked having to wait at least 1 duel before a gear or otherwise they can just see what you're using and switch which wouldn't be fair to the newer meleers.

People say they don't want unlimited gear changes because "it takes too long." Your method of going to different acts to gear would take even longer. Besides, most of the time people don't gear at the same time, and if they did, it would have to be unlimited gear changes for that to work due to both having to gear at the same when only one wants to gear.
