the fact is, other then traps, the attack mechanic's available in the assassin skill tree's are just not good enough for pvp purposes.
I mean at least at MLD I was open to doing something like allowing melee (read: non trap) go to 59 for Fury (i.e. whirlwind). but there is nothing like that for a 30 melee char.
some classes are weaker then others and some builds are weaker then others. on the basis that the class (assassin) has the option to a trapper, and that leveling to 39 will do tap all for a melee assassins chances, we can just bemoan the lack of variety / strength while maintaining the status quo.

i mean i have a kicker, and i use it sometimes to balance teams. just like a cs can be used to balance teams or something shit, like a nova sorc (lol who makes nova sorcs)

dclaw in perf gear is proven to go 50-50 with top geared fire sorc on priv realms, and tiger strike sin can hold its own in pure melee.

and how does it do vs everything else ? I mean at the end of the day you dont want 2 straight anti-classes, nevermind more, if you know what i mean.

hard to say 100% w/o massive testing, but should shred fellow sins, and hold its own vs bowas, do ok vs boners and windys.

would struggle vs barbs, hdins, etc.

but when u can go even with the best build there is, and compete vs top builds, and have some hard counters, that's noteworthy.

scroll a few more chars down from Tardy next time and find out in a tvt

MB > dflight > MB > dclaw > mb > dlcaw repeat repeat repeat.

or better yet, swap to spirit sword side, use tiger strike on oaks/golems/valks/etc, get 3 charges, WSG to move while MB spamming someone, dclaw on 3 charges on them and if it hits they'll melt. if it amps they die as they run off.

Yeah, puddles, clanbk, cadagan, required and i could all 50/50 a top geared sorc in tcp/ip battles back in the day. We just made random builds and gave everyone in the group the d2s share files so they could have a local copy of it to rename

I never found tiger strike to be good though. By the time you want to release your charges, you are already dead

1v1 100%, tiger strike is shit in all matchups except vs windy or boner.

bonewalls, clay golem, doggies, and oaks its well worth it to stack, even if its just to force insight quicker and make them eat tele charges up.

in tvt with a windy/boner, again worth it. rest, not good.

im tempted to report the the entire east realm in the scammers and accusations forum for stealing sasax from the europe realm.

in all honestly, its a dream for the player that can find a use for it, but its just not mainstream so you wont get alot for it (but well it is east and they are mad over there so who knows).
