best clvl for gambing 5ls handscythes?

i tried lvl 42/49 not getting many handscythes mostly cetus
tried lvl 95 i get a ton more handscythes but they are getting mostly +3 to traps instead of +2

Is there a sweet spot somewhere between 49-90's?

sunk about 200mil gold so far best was 4ls.

my understanding from speaking with sasax is that its "the higher the better".
why do you only want +2 ls ?

pretty much, since "X hand scythe" is the very first requirement and hitting an exceptional is based on clvl

i wonder how many rolls it would take to get a 145-165 20ias 2 sox double bow. i mean, its only a matter of time.

i mean +3 all trap skills (cunning) was showing up more over +2 trap skills

i've gotten a few +3trap +1ls claws making them unusable since lvl req is 45 cause of cunning mod.

That's the sad part about it. You need high AF level for a better chance at hand scythe. High AF level means way more high level mods.

This is your absolute best shot at a nice claw outside of pure luck:

6 Perfect Skulls + 1 Rare Item = 1 Random Low Quality Rare Item of the same type
You can use this formula to get another chance at a Rare Item of the same type. ilvl = int(.4 * clvl) + int(.4 * ilvl)

e/ best shot ignoring the soj recipe due to crazy soj prices...

Also just thought I'd mention in case it wasn't implied that you can work with that formula's diminishing returns

Instead of gambling cestus with high hopes to spawn as hand scythe, go and gamble hand scythe directly from gambling screen. Ask ferdia how to do it

how to get rare hand scythes:
gamble: be ungodly patient....goto anya and bring gold. look for Cestus on the gamble screen, use a clvl 55-60, persistance gives your best chances.

imbue: white hand scythes with a clvl 55(the imbue will not save your +skill)

or use Pgems on a magical scythe found in NM Crystaline passage

shop for talons:
+2shadow or +2ma blade talons with 30ias can be shopped at anya.
use a clvl 45, 1:35k chances.....pray for 2 sockets from larzuk
+1 sin 30ias can also be shopped there (same clvl) 1:9k chances
