Every car company has a black mark. It's just funny that to stay afloat they had to make a bastardization of their vehicles.

a $40K car that has a $100-200K car company stigma sells well. just good business.

The GC 2.5rs is the lightest chassis base. Wouldn't that make it worth building?

Worth building? As in just taking the chassis and putting everything in from an sti? Then yes. But building off of a foundation that's more than just the chassis, then no. The stock 2.5rs block is shit. The transmission is decent for a 5 speed but if you're gonna do a swap, why not just swap the whole thing.

to me swapping = building... you're sinking money into the car, whether it be with the given block or not.

Its a GT3RS

orly, usually those things are badged up pretty good. I was judging off the extreme wide body kit and the massive park bench on the back. techart uses those alot. that said, a gt3rs isnt exactly cheap....

you don't understand. porsche introduced the boxter to keep them from going bankrupt. mid to late 90's porsche was ready to go under. they brought the boxter, and it saved them to the point where they now own vw, audi, bugatti, lambo, etc.

that is why there would be no late model porsche's if not for the boxter.

om nom nom

so just a miscommunication. no probs. but yeah, swapping and building are two different things to me. I can always just swap something which would take less than a week... builds take months unfortunately
