1992 anniversary edition camaro. Fire Red/black on red interior 1/1201. Full bolt 6.0 lq4 iron block. 243 heads. c05 ls2 cam. hardened double valve springs. hardened push rods. skat rockers. Fast brand ported high rise intake with fast fuel rails. fast throttle body. Full tubular kmember tubular torque arm. Moser 12 with fully adjustable track bars. 4l60e (basically stock besides 2800stall) bbk full loudmouth.
third gen bird dash swap (in progress)

on the way. turbonetics 78mm rear mount turbo.

Don't rear mount it. What do you mean by a FAST high rise intake? They only make composite LSXR intakes. There is nothing high rise about it. Scat doesn't make rockers either. Please don't rear mount the turbo.

why not rear mount? I really dont have room up front for it unless i route it in front of my rad support. not digging that idea too much.

Stand the radiator up vertical. You can fit a huge T6 up there. Rear mounting a turbo puts it farther away from the heat source (engine). That leads to really slow spool, and poor throttle response. There is more pipe volume that needs to build pressure before the turbine wheel will spin. It's always an uphill battle.




That's the same engine and turbo you are talking about using. It's mounted off to the side, you can also mount it directly in front of the water pump.

hmmmm i likey. batterys gonna have to be re hashed then tho. ill take some pics and pm u if thats cool? so u can maybe give me an idea. i just seen alot of lsx3gs with rear mounts on hawks. and they make a semi bolt on kit
