only losers feel the need to upgrade the sound system of a modern car.
in the 90s with those dogshit speakers i could understand it, but today its not worth the investment.

aftermarket stereo is a big boost on a late 2000s/early 2010s vehicle with no infotainment system. I use the navigation very often and even some cars from the aforementioned era don't come standard with bluetooth calling capabilities so it was justified. I still have 2 12's but will probably remove them soon (can definitely notice a decline in my general ability to hear after dailying them for 5 years) and a lot of these "premium" factory speakers are absolute shit

Most cars come with Basic Subs built in now days...
In my dads car ( acdc ,bon jovi, 70-80s rock guy ) i got him 4 Pioneer door speakers/ head-unit combo, and replaced the 2 rear big speakers behind the back seats ....
with 2x 10" kicker subs If i remember correctly , could of been pioneer.
with a 2000 watt peak 400 RMS or something. , 2 channel amp. 1 sub per channel.
Had just the perfect volume/beat mix balance.
Obviously had enough space to put grocery's in the trunk.
think it was like a 2007 or 2008 Pontiac G6 Gt or something.
