Matthew 24:42-44 NIV
"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."

God has given us powerful promises in the scripture. But, as powerful as these promises are, as encouraging and inspiring as they can be, there’s only one ingredient that activates the power, one ingredient that ignites what God said, and that’s faith. You weren’t created to live in dysfunction, with addictions, constantly struggling. God’s about to do a new thing. That sickness is not permanent; healing is coming. Wholeness is on the way; victory is in your future.

There are a lot of things in life we can’t change, but we can change our approach. We can choose to not let things upset us, not go through life worried, frustrated, discouraged.

This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

Micah 6:8 NIV
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Little faith can defeat great giants. Little faith can open big doors. Don’t believe that you don’t have enough faith. You have the faith you need to get you to your destiny. Now do your part and start mixing faith with the promises. Dare to believe what God told you. Don’t be moved by what you don’t see, by how long it’s taking, by how bad it looks, by what you don’t have. Don’t let those negative thoughts override what God has spoken to you. Mix in your faith.

A grateful heart is a strong heart. When you worship God, he renews your strength. Set your mind on him and put your hope in him because he will never let you down!

Psalm 16:11 NIV
You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Even though God is all-powerful, even though He controls the universe, He needs your faith. He needs you to get in agreement with him, to take that promise and believe it will come to pass. Faith ignites the promise. Like a match, even though it’s small, even though it doesn’t look like much, it’s powerful. There’s fire in the match.

People aren’t always going to be good to you; they may say things they don’t even mean. Take the high road anyway because that’s where God is and he is always good! Growing with God is a process. He’s not looking for perfection; He’s looking for faith and obedience. When we surrender all to him, that’s when we become all he has created us to be.

My prayer is that all of you will search your own heart during this difficult season and not be found lacking faith, understanding and love.

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord . And it is good for people to submit at an early age to the yoke of his discipline:
