God never said, “You’re going to understand everything. I’m going to show you what I’m doing. It’s all going to make sense.” He said, “My ways are not your ways.” He said, “Walk by faith and not by sight.” Sometimes we have short memories. We forget God is the one that opened the door. Don’t forget about all the prayers God has answered.

Storms come to us all; the good news is God is in control of the winds. He’s in control of what’s trying to stop you. All He has to do is shift the winds and instead of holding you back, they will thrust you forward. You can live from a place of peace, a place of rest, knowing that God is not only fighting your battles, but He’s lined up the breaks you need.

God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him.

Instead of using that energy trying to understand what’s happening, use it to thank God that he’s working. Thank him that he’s making your crooked places straight; thank him that he’s fighting your battles; thank him that you’re surrounded with his favor.

When it’s the right time, when it all comes together, it’s going to work for your good. You’re going to see the hand of God.

So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content. 1 Timothy 6:8

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

It’s not just good breaks that will take you into your destiny, the closed doors are as important as the open doors. The betrayals are just as important as the divine connections. God uses them all. Sometimes what we think is a bad break is really God protecting us. You may not understand what God is doing now, but one day you will understand. One day you’ll say, “I’m glad that door didn’t open. I’m glad that prayer didn’t get answered. I’m glad the delay happened."

Lord, I want to live in the shelter of your wings and protection. I root my confidence in you alone and lean on you for help. In Jesus' name, Amen!

The Creator of the Universe, the One who flung stars into space, is breathing in your direction. Him being for you is more than the world being against you. Don’t panic over the pandemic; don’t fear the unknown; don’t lose sleep over what doesn’t make sense. God has equipped you, empowered you, and anointed you.

What you see may seem small compared to what God promised you. It’s easy to dismiss it and think it’s nothing. But God can take a small cloud and bring a big blessing. He can take what looks insignificant and turn it into something amazing. True wisdom comes from God. His word is an instruction manual for life. True wisdom is found in a humble, teachable attitude.

God has supernatural provision. He knows how to not only sustain you, but also to increase you to where you defy the odds.
