Centos, for when you need 15 year old packages. But bad hosters typically only have centos on their VPS packages

Best distro for security: Qubes.

Uses unpriviliged VMs for everything. The host (dom0) doesn't have network at all. Some domains, eg. for your passwords also don't have network. Plus whonix VM for privacy (tor etc)

this what i use nowadays

2)OS Home Enterprise
1 Laptop: Manjaro Korora (installs LVM by default)
2 Desktop: Mint OpenSuse (installs BTRFS/XFS by default)
3 Server: Xubuntu CentOS (installs XFS by ?default)
