Jesus said in no uncertain terms that how we treat the lowest is how we will be seen as treating him. He also said in no uncertain terms that people of wealth are not as valuable as those who are poor.

Again, this is foundational to the religion. If you don't know this you are simply not a Christian. Youre an idolater in Christian clothes.
