in ireland, these are the rules if you're close contact:
if you have 2vax+booster - no need to test or self isolate unless if you have symptoms. you can work and go around normally
if you have 2vax - self isolate for 10 days even if test is negative which is the rule that also applies to non vaxed.

remember when conspiracy theory said "you're all vaccinated until you refuse next one, then we're all unvaxxed" and it was laughed at?

USA is 10 days for the average worker vax or not. Airline pilots and healthcare workers they reduced to 3-5 days, and some make you come to work the same day if “mild” symptoms

Lots of conspiracies were laughed at early on and people saying “that’d never happen”. And now that they’re happening those people just ignore it or come up with a silly excuse to defend it

I’ve thought about taking a covid test to get 2 weeks paid vacation since the tests will pop basically anything as positive. I am the only human in the world with this idea to take advantage of ignorant pushy politicians.

In quebec nurses who have covid still have to work. No days off just go to work normally. (My friend told me this, his GF is a nurse)

Seems counter productive?
But unvaxxed person cannot go see their dying relative.

Just got back from the local grocery, witnessing an old man berating and badgering a mom about no mask. She's holding her kid, like a toddler daughter. He's screaming at the mom that she doesn't care about anyone but herself and to put the kid down and get on a mask. Then 2 more guys team up against her. Not employees, customers. Against one single mom with a kid.

Manager had to tell those guys to fuck off. Old guy left the store deeply red faced and the kid was crying because of what she witnessed.
