he didn't do much good, just filled a few million incels with 40% more rage over their self induced shit life
From a conservative or partisan perspective, he actually got several big ""wins"":
He induced a (small-scale) political realignment which greatly increased the efficiency of the GOP coalition.
He started a paradigm shift on several key issues. (E.g. China, trade, foreign policy, fiscal conservatism.)
He nominated 3 Supreme Court and countless circuit court judges.
He got a big tax bill through Congress which slashed taxes, neutered the most unpopular part of Obamacare (individual mandate) and capped SALT deductions (which were effectively a subsidy for blue states by red states).
He showed the party establishment that you can make inroads with voters of color even if you're decidedly unwoke and deliberately hawkish on immigration.
He prompted the MSM and Big Tech into dropping any pretense of neutrality, exposed their bias and manipulation.
Several decades from now, history will not be kind to his character and conduct, but his actual policies and achievements will imho be seen in a more positive light. He will be seen as a crass and divisive figure who nonetheless achieved more for his side than he was given credit for.
But yeah, he's gone off the deep end over the past year and kinda turned into a caricature of himself. He's become a liablity and if the GOP is stupid enough to nominate him again, 2024 will turn into a debacle.
