Then that defeats the purpose of the question doesn't it? The scenario is based on the fact that it was indeed God almighty that gave the command. I wouldn't blindly do that kind of order without some kind of justification.
I also know because I use scripture as my weapon. Does this being that comes before me and claims to bear the name of God uphold with what The Bible says? The standard is that they do not break even one verse of scripture otherwise they are not of God. That is how I know.
If the message brought to me were not of God almighty then I would know. If it were then his will shall be done, his name will be glorified as well. I would be focusing on the fact that I had saved billions of people from slavery and death. The Lord sent a messenger and the message was delivered.
On a side note, I thought you were all about giving love advice in the Love Line? What could you possibly be doing here in PaRD with these kind of discussions?
No it doesn't. I don't believe that God exists. This hypothetical scenario is about your actions when believing you have seen God and that he has asked you to do something horrific. The fact that you would follow without first having some kind of psychiatric evaluation is extremely disturbing. I, personally, would want to rule out any kind of mental illness before even considering such a command.
