The Djokovic case really has two sides:

- if a country's policy is that persons who don't satisfy a certain criterion cannot enter the country, then it is absolutely the right decision to apply this rule to everyone and deny entry to entitled celebrities or pro athletes asking for preferential treatment.
- this point notwithstanding, the particular rule in this case is braindead. Australia has (correctly, imho) chosen to let covid rip and therefore sees skyhigh cases right now, so at this point, some few covid-positive travellers don't make any difference to their domestic covid situation anymore.
