Um, you do realize that when people refer to "cannons" while talking about jets, they aren't talking about something from the 12th century. They're referring to Gatling guns. And as a matter of fact yes, it does look like there are bullet holes there.

That article is honestly interesting. They're basically saying, "We have no reliable witnesses, no black box confirmation, nothing to pin this on Russia. But sometime in the approximate time period of this, somewhere within a few hundred miles or so, we saw a vehicle with one less missile than it's capacity, so we're pretty sure they blew it down."

At any rate, no dog in this argument. Just figured I'd point out the absurdity of it all. "A passenger jet was shot down. After it crashed, we were able to piece almost 20% of it back together! Based on that, we have what appears to be suspiciously bullet shaped shrapnel holes in the hull. Yep, it was a Russian missile. Just one. Case solved."



Your references are the Washington Post and NPR, who has been openly calling for the US Military to put boots on the ground to retake both the Donbas and Crimea for Ukraine since 2014? You need to perform a bias check on your sources, my man.
