We can quibble about what the exact cutoff is another time. For now we are just talking about the extreme case. Can we both agree that Hitler shouldn't go to heaven even if on his death bed he sincerely confessed himself to Jesus while his victims went to hell?

Job 40:8
Would you discredit my justice?
Would you condemn me to justify yourself?

Cool story bro. Next time try deviating from the script.

If he actually confessed on his death bed then that action would have been through God above and not by Hitler himself. In that case God would have chosen to save Hitler. It is impossible for us to choose God without him interfering.

In which case it is indeed God who actively sends people to hell and created them knowing they would go to hell. You can either have free will and people choosing God, in which case literally Hitler can go to heaven, or you can have God interfering to create believers, in which case you lose any pretense of people being responsible for which afterlife they go to.

So does this mean that you're going to Hell because you don't like the system?

Thought you might want to know how the Bible has responded to this sort of thing.

My fate is not the subject of the discussion. Under your beliefs it doesn't matter if I like the system or not, God will determine who goes to heaven and who doesn't and we have no say in the matter. If you really think God is the one who interferes and makes people believe then you are wasting your time trying to convince me of anything.

Oh but indeed it is. Have you not read the original post in its entirety? Have you not read the title of this very topic? Have you not read and voted in the poll?

Don't you realize that all God did was reverse the order with which we humans do things? We believe in hard working to earn the reward. God first saves then tells us how we should live in thankfulness since we are now saved.

God first saved Israel from Egypt and then he gave them the 10 Commandments. Israel did not obey the law so that they could be rescued from Egypt as that happened afterwards.

How great is our God that he did all the hard work and offers us the gift of salvation? All we do is receive it. Apparently for you this is a very hard thing to do. You still have the rest of your life though, be it a week, Month, Year or even another decade. We just don't know.

The bible offers a lot of get-out-of-jail-free cards to actual questioning. You are allowed to ask certain questions to convince the congregation they aren't unquestioning sheep, but get out of questions where there's a specific script and you'll get a lot of "god's mysterious ways" and "don't question it".

Again, according to exactly what you just posted God forces receipt upon us and deprives the opportunity to receive from everybody else. Why are you contradicting yourself on how salvation works?

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Forces receipt? Far from it, the offer is there for you until the day you die. You have a lifetime to accept that offer.

John 14:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

There is no other way by which you can be saved.

So then when you said "It is impossible for us to choose God without him interfering." you were wrong?
