However - Omicron is proving to be a fairly mild variant, which even provides immunity against delta, whose prevalence is roughly 41%. I'm continuing to wait things out until polyclonal antibodies from SABS therapeutics are available (which works against all variants), so that by then I won't have to worry about the virus or the vaccine.

People are free to keep injecting themselves with boosters but eventually they may (MAY) run into a bad batch that causes an adverse reaction, and nobody will help them.
