You do understand the difference between projections using data from before a global pandemic and projections incorporating data after a global pandemic right? Like you would get why the first one no longer applies.

Also if you actually read the link instead of just the web address you'd see it's an article discussing global data gaps that are currently why there isn't a global mortality number for 2020.

It's actually the opposite. Your sources DIDN'T estimate Covid deaths. They were estimates of the expected 2020 death rate if Covid hadn't happened.

You posted estimated data earlier. Kinda weird to be upset that someone else does the same.

There is no reliable 2020 data yet. It takes time to compile statistics.

Just googling "2021 death rate" I found this article which summarizes the state of 2020 death counts as of April of this year, but it is still incomplete.

If you can find a more up to date result please post it, but it's really obvious that the death rate increased in 2020 from Covid.
