You guys wanna know what a real coup looks like? There have been plenty of examples throughout history.

As someone who has spent many years obsessing over geopolitics, let me enlighten you fucking morons that are dumb enough to call Jan. 6th a "coup", what actually happens during a real one.

First of all, it's not just an angry mob without a leader showing up somewhere.

It would be an armed group that would also have the support of the local police forces & military, and there would be gunfights in the streets. This could then evolve into a very serious all-out war which could possibly last for years if there is no decisive immediate victory, like Syria or Iraq, with many thousands upon thousands of casualties.

A few years back there was a *real* attempted coup against Erdogan in Turkey. You wanna know what happened?

Soldiers took to the streets and took over the media buildings, while helicopter gunships flew above raining death down on people protesting against the coup. An F-16 fighter jet tried to shoot down Erdogan's jet to assassinate him, but failed.

Hundreds of people died. The coup still failed, because it did not have popular support amongst the population.

Turkey was very lucky that the coup attempt was brief and that it did not turn into another Syria, and that it failed quickly.

Did you see soldiers taking over media buildings on Jan. 6th? Did you see helicopters mowing down dozens of people? Did you see hundreds of people dying? Did you see a fucking war breaking out? No, of course not.

At best, you can call Jan. 6th a riot. But that's all it was, and nothing more.

But as I've said before many times, the truth no longer matters in this fucking country that has lost its sanity and is totally out of touch with reality at every level.

These are scary times.

Nobody even covered government buildings being repeatedly set on fire with molotovs, not to mention entire small business districts being wiped out.
