A vaccine is not useful once you already have it. A vaccine is useful to prevent you from catching it. FFS, do you know fuckall about vaccines and what they're designed to do?

Based on the death numbers, the 75+ should have received well over half the vaccines, the 65-74 should be just under half, and high risk individuals in other categories get a split of the rest.

Edit: To give you a better understanding of just how stupid your statement is, the entire reason we lock down, mask up, etc. is to prevent the primary at-risk groups from dying. Those groups, by and large, are aged 65+. There are 49 Million Americans aged 65+. Why are they wasting over 5.5 million vaccines on the literal lowest risk groups, to whom the virus is LESS deadly than the Flu, when they have not vaccinated anywhere near the number of elderly who need it? Literally, every elderly person who has not had the vaccine (but is willing to get it) should be being prioritized BEFORE those under the age of 49. That way, you don't need to WORRY about masks or lockdowns. Instead, you just give the at risk groups immunity, let the rest get their wuflu, and move the fuck on.

So again, WHY are they wasting vaccines?

I don't CARE about the spread among those 49 and under. In any way. It's less lethal than the Flu. Once you vaccinate those who are at risk to it, providing THEM immunity, so they don't DIE, the entire rest of the population can catch it I literally do not care, because they are not going to DIE from it at any notable rate.

The "spread" is not the concern. Hospitalizations and deaths are the concern. Hospitalization rates among those 49 and under who are not immunocompromised is lower than the average flu year. Deaths among those 49 and under who are not immunocompromised is MUCH lower than the average flu year.

Don't care about the "spread". Provide the vaccine to the people the virus will KILL, because they're the people who need it. The "younger folks" can get the virus all day long and shrug it off. How is this hard for you?
