Shouldn't we just promote early in person voting and cap board of elections occupancy to like 10 max or set up more areas for early in person voting so people can just go to vote before Nov 2nd and the people who absolutely need to mail in vote who are overseas or unable to leave their house or make it to board of elections can do mail in voting?

That said, this all just seems preposterous. An election must take place, whether it is chosen to be done by a lot of mail in voting or not. And the optics of this on both sides is somewhat bad.

Feel like this shit show is only heating up tbh.

But I guess there'd be Karens and Ken's ending up on the internet freaking out cause they'd have to wear a mask while they check a few boxes for a couple of minutes.

unfortunately this is why there is even an issue. Karen and Ken on both sides of the political spectrum do not want to wear a mask to go vote

Get an absentee ballot or vote in person with a mask.

The post office has been in debt for what was it like 8 billion?
And they've been getting rid of thousands of mailboxes since 2015.

Mass mail in voting, which has caused issues in primaries already, is a dumb idea. Especially with everybody ranting about foreign interference, shouldn't we be taking steps to ensure a fair election?

Sorry but i think the main idea is to get voting by mail as performant as possible to spare lives and to keep a reasonable level of security & delays...
