Funny....you, blaming the US for destabilizing countries. I guess if you only cherry pick things from history, you can feel good about yourself?

unlike you, i am extremely critical of my country's history in the period in question, and obviously strongly disagree with its actions back then (and many of our current policies as well, just for the record).
i don't defend them just because someone who happens to not be from here, but might still have suffered from some form of consequences, points it out.

just because you're from a country that has done shitty things in the past doesn't mean you can't criticise shitty things in the present, don't be ridiculous. that would delegitimise ANY criticism from ANY country, which obviously is your goal here, but that's obviously not how any of this works. i'd say you'll learn that in time, but i gotta be honest, i don't have much hope...

And you may learn in time, that you need to worry about your own back yard first. When that is perfect, then you can relax and enjoy your back yard.

As I said before... talk is cheap. You don't like what the US did in Syria... go there and show us how to do it right. When you can do that, maybe someone will listen to your critiques.

Yes, avoid the facts, avoid the points, avoid admitting your lies, and focus on broadly insulting me based on a hypothetical scenario related to an entirely reasonable single sentence I wrote to someone else.
Very representative of the type of aggressively anti-intellectual loser that you are.

Could continued US presence of a few dozen troops in the area have dissuaded Turkey from acting? Sure. indefinitely? idk.
My post didn't presume to know one way or the other. I simply said that the US should not be expected to defend the Kurds from NATO allies. That is an eminently reasonable statement.

Meanwhile you brazenly proclaim to know what each actor would have done in the region and dream a peaceful solution would have come about.
It was previously reported they would attack regardless and have indicated their plans to attack for several months now, but i'm sure you know with 100% certainty they would never attack despite you not having access to pertinent information or future telling capabilities.

In your world US troops should just stay in the middle east indefinitely until everyone is holding hands and singing Kumbaya.
Great plan.

Descendant of Nazis wants Americans to pay him reparations for war.

talk about aggressive anti-intellectualism. i bet you don't even realise how moronic your lies and ad hominems are. you can't even read the concrete proposals i have posted in this thread and rather resort to fiction and strawmen. garbage behaviour from a garbage person really...

problem with that kindergarden logic of yours is that WE didn't fuck the middle east up in the first place. WE did not create ISIS, we did not topple regimes, wage war under false pretenses, and destabilise the whole region to secure digging rights for our companies (let me just pretend that your little lapdog UK has already left the EU) - WE only have to deal with the fallout from all of this, because YOU have an ocean and extremely selfish immigrant policies between the fruits of your corporate greed and your country. that's why WE care and want YOU to act with at least some semblance of decency and insight - but even that is too much to expect from the incompetent and corrupt morons you regularly elect as your leaders and representatives.

'No you' isnt an argument, nor is it reflective of reality.

Everyone here can read the previous exchange and see you chose to avoid everything I said to you and insult me instead.
Many of us know you do this on a regular basis.

'Aggressive anti-intellectual' is a very fitting characterization of you.

'nazi descendant' isn't an argument. pointing out that europe has to deal with the fallout of failed american middle eastern policy, and pointing out the audacity of demanding we spend more on military to deal with those blunders, is not 'demanding reparations'.

pointing out that leaving the 'few dozen troops' in place and signaling to turkey that an assault on the only reliable ally in that region is unacceptable, while simultaneously working on a political solution that ensures their existence, with the goal of leaving the region with some semblance of stability is not the same as 'staying there indefinitely until everyone holds hands'.

calling dishonest garbage 'dishonest garbage' is not 'no you', it's holding you accountable for the moronic shit you say while pretending to make a point - just because you use the words 'aggressive anti-intellectualism' doesn't mean they can't apply to you, basic logic fail.

now explain again how triggered you are that people mocked your emperor's normandy comments, that was your best contribution so far...

You indicated US troops should stay indefinitely while declaring a peaceful solution would happen.

There was no dishonest garbage on my part.
Suggesting I am an aggressive anti-intellectual when i call you out for being an aggressive anti-intellectual is in fact a 'no you'.

Avoiding my points like a coward and insulting me instead is not holding me accountable for anything.

Where did i say it can't apply to me just because i use the words? Where is the logic fail on my part? I see the strawman and false claim of a logic fail made by yourself.

It doesn't apply to me because i'm not an aggressive anti-intellectual.

You are free to go back and read my response to your lies about me related to those comments.
Sharply and accurately responding to your pathetic and dishonest canned response is not being 'triggered'.
