But you've apparently got this overinflated sense of self-importance that makes you think people are stalking your posts on a gaming forum, as well as a broken sense of knowing when people are supposedly mad at you. No one's mad, butt hurt (note: this is not an original retort, either), or whatever. We're all just NPCs on a 20-year old gaming forum. We come here, we shitpost, and we leave. It's not that important in the grand scheme of things.

No one on this forum (or even just this subforum) is a "player" when it comes to geopolitical dealings. We're all outside observers, which is why I said we're all NPCs. None of what we say here is going to have any effect on how people like Putin, Zelenskyy, Biden, etc conduct international affairs. To think otherwise is hubris writ large.

All that had to be done to avoid this war was for Biden to give assurances to Russia back in December when Russia came to us with their ultimatum that we would not seek for Ukraine to join NATO.

That is literally it. And tens of thousands of lives would have been saved.

But nope "muH oPeN DooR poLiCY" was the excuse Biden used to push for war in Ukraine.

Maybe we can't change leaders' minds or influence their policies, but we might be able to change other people's minds. That in itself is significant.

Remember, there are feds on online forums. What we say and do must matter to some degree.
