It's too early for that kind of talk. No one thought Bush, Obama, or Clinton were going to win a 2nd term either until well after the midterms. Everyone thought HW was going to glide to a 2nd term (so much so that the Dems ran their B team) but he ended up losing. A lot can happen in 2 years.

If Biden stopped lowering stocks, the Dems might have a chance in November.

Trump runs in 2024, Orange Man Bad people vote against him instead of for the country.

Hate is one of the most powerful sources of energy in the universe.

The nature of any radical is that they pretend they are not radical.

The Supreme Court just passed a decision that radically expands gun rights in America.... the fact that you're more radical than that means you are part of a minority.

The government does not "expand gun rights". The right is already yours, as guaranteed by the Second Amendment.

The only thing the government does is lower it's own restrictions on your rights. Once again, any infringement on your right to keep and bear arms is Unconstitutional. I do not care how you attempt to justify the infringements. That they exist is enough.

"Hey man! I stole your car, but now I'm giving you the wheels and engine back. Good luck bud!" is your "expansion". :)

Yep.

The Supreme Court did the same thing on Thursday, that they did on Friday.
They corrected past mis-interpretations of the Constitution.

Yet people complain, when an obviously adept and honorable Supreme Court, does the job they are supposed to be doing.

The left: "Do your job badly and with complete disregard of the Constitution, to win points with us".

You're free to believe ideas that are completely contrary to the stated record. But these decisions aren't going away because you complain.

The stated record of what? Is this like the stated record of "Roe is settled law" when that's the most absurd statement ever, Roe wasn't a law at all?

Stated record. Wow.

They aren't looking good.

And people that care about choice have short attention spans.

Everyone has short attention spans. I thought that abortion might be a hot button issue but there wasn't really a peep when the draft opinion leaked. It still has low salience among voters relative to inflation so I don't see how the Dems could possibly take the House. The Senate is another story because the GOP has some pretty weak candidates whereas the Dems have some strong ones. I could see the Dems ending up with 52 seats but I could easily seem them have 47.

My bet is that they barely lose the senate and significantly lose the house. Pelosi has been especially angry these days.
