The colonial army of the revolutionary war were also insanely out gunned as well. If national guard opens fire with lethal force they have then abandoned their oath and are now the enemy.
Let the world watch the government of a free country open fire on its citizens who have every right to over throw them.

if the thousands of Americans in the streets right now actually armed themselves the police would run in fear.
This is why they want to tell you guns are bad and guns should be outlawed. So when times like this happen only they have the power.
BIG battles can be won by SMALL armies.

I doubt the rioters would stay long for a real fight. They have already accomplished there goal. MN tax payer and average Joe will bear the burden financially, and hard labor picking up the pieces. Meanwhile, the state surplus got COVID and many still unemployed. For sure gonna see some constiuents pushing for changes at local and state levels.

wrong it would be a revolution when the french took over their country it was a revolution. Cival war would be like trying to leave the union...revolution is when everyone comes together for change.

there are core differences between both.

their goal is not over until every corrupt police officer is held accountable. these things have been going on for years with nothing being done people are sick and tired. there have been riots across the country the riots in minneapolis is not an isolated incident.

it is not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog. the police have nothing to lose the people have everything to lose.

Correct.

It's a faulty assumption for anyone to make when they talk about rural militias outgunning the people in the streets; assuming those militias will join one side predominantly. I promise that's not reality. =)

but wait? according to some in PARD their ability to arm themselves and protest is protected. isnt that what the lockdown protestors did? They stormed a state capital building, armed and loaded. They didnt fire - so if these guys do the same, why should they get shot?

Well if they don't shoot, then there's no problem. But I think we're way past the point of peaceful protest by now.
