USA wanted to get Ukraine into NATO in 2008, Germany said "no".
They didnt want any tensions and trade disrepancies with Russia, and sacrified the Ukraine security. It wasnt a factor to them.
I know Germany sent some humanitarian help and I dont neglect that. Its not much compared to Germany economy size but still help.
Hovewer militarily its been a disaster.
Not only have there been no deliveries of heavy weapons, but, according to documents released to the "Welt am Sonntag" newspaper, Germany has also shipped almost no significant light weapons since the end of March.
According to documents that the newspaper got to know, between March 30 and May 26, only two arms shipments from the German government reached Ukraine. Both contained very little equipment.

Germany invited Ukraine troops to train them using german artillery, but now they changed their mind and said that they arent sending any heavy weapons.
Looks like UA soldiers wasted their precious time, during the war time, trying to learn how to use weapons that they cant use.
Unless Germany changes its mind again.
Some people think that Germany government would like Ukraine to loose the war, so that they can quickly return to their trades with Russia. If it werent for USA, UK, and central Europe, and Ukraine were dependant on ammo supplies from Germany, UA would loose already.
I dont speak about German people, which I admire and like very much, but the current government, which in my opinion doesnt do what the german people would like them to do, but plays some dirty politics and only does something when german public opinion pushes them hard.
Honestly I dont know what to think about all of it, very mixed feelings.

Normal people like everywhere else in Europe, except they had war in 2014, and they have it again at larger scale now.
They are also poorer, as being at war is not really good for business.

Can you tell us a little about the Asov Battalion, why they make up such a large percentage of the Ukraine Military, why they've been so active in the Donbas region since 2014, why they fly a nazi flag (literal swastika), why they wear nazi decorations, and why they're castrating and executing prisoners of war and bragging about it?

Azov aint a huge part of UA military.
In 2014 Russia attacked Ukraine for the first time, that's why they were active, lol.

Ukraine is a free country since 30years only, its a relatively poor country.
I think there could still be some extremists among Azov, but less and less every year.
I know there was a photo in Ukrainian official profile, that showed soldier wearing skull sign that nazi also wore, but it was taken down 30 minutes later, when it was reported.

Dont think they are castrating and executing Russian PoW. PoWs are to be traded.

Now, what can you tell me about Russia?
They promised Ukraine security in 1992, yet they unprovoke attack them. Russian broke the 1997 NATO - Russia deal.
They commit war crimes and genocide in Ukraine.
They kidnapped 1,2mln Ukrainians, including children, into mainland Russia, after taking their documents so they cant leave Russia now.
They bombed some Ukrainians cities to the ground.
They force Ukrainian citizens into Russia army, which is a war crime also.
They force Ukrainians in occupied areas to say lies that Ukraine army kills people and destroys buildings, while it was Russians.

The point of my question was to see which side of the propaganda spectrum you're on. We know from human rights watch reports going back all the way to 2014 the actions of Asov. We know based on our own intelligence reporting the integral role they play in the Ukrainian military and how high their officers rank.

There is no doubt that there are fingers enough to point on both sides. The end of the line is if you only have negative to say about one, while trying to outright lie about the negatives of the other, you're simply a propagandist. Nothing you've said or will say is to be taken seriously.

When there is a woman, and a man who tries to rape her, steal her money and kill after, they both participate in the crime. But they arent equally guilty.
What are the Ukraine negatives?
They are poorer than western Europe - right.
Corruption is more widespread than in western world - also probably right. They are working with it but its not easy to change in a short time, lol.
