They already have.

I believe they'll make an even bigger impact.

If they make their violence greater then or equal to the police then yes..no one thought the rebels in 1776 would of won. most people thought it would be over in days or even weeks.

Doubtful. The incident was already rallying people against the abuse of power. The riots will turn people away more than pull them towards.

Yeah, 60.8 million to victims of police brutality in the last decade in MN < damage done thus far. Significantly less. There will be change no doubt.

The police, army and rural militias are so insanely better armed and provisioned to engage in fighting compared to these urban rioters that its not even remotely a contest.
These rioters only possible accomplishment would be to provoke lethal force that would crush them brutally and draw more sympathy to their cause
But right now they're doing the exact opposite, as police are not using force and rioters are destroying cities and murdering people.

Look at the Minneapolis protests. A dozen times or more people have shot at police. Endless attacks with projectiles and dozens of buildings torched. Cops are all standing there carrying weapons and taking it, only ever using non-lethal force. If they opened fire with the guns it would be a massacre. You think a bunch of looters jogging around the suburbs would be any match for militias driving F150s spraying their AR-15s out the windows?
