still all of the data im showing is that even with omnicron running wild the vast majority of ICU patients are among the minority of unvaccinated people.

That sounds like a good plan. Again dismissing that its mutating vs the original vax model, and not working as well.

You don't even know that we (assuming you are a real french citizen, which i doubt) have one of the highest testing rate in the world at the moment, explaining the amount of cases.

This said the case explosion will happen in all countries: The weak and the unvaccinated will pay the price for that, Omicron will be a Tsunami. Leaders will be able to blame fatality because all countries will be hit.

I really regret this for fragile and low immune systems people. On the other hand unvaccinated perfectly deserve what is waiting them: a death rate dozens of times superior to others (3rd shot).
The most important being to properly list them, remember them, and having doctors giving priority to the weak but vaccinated ones, in case of healthcare collapse. Faireness.
